TOI – WestBridge Capital exits Nazara as Plutus Wealth purchases shares worth over Rs 500 crore

CHENNAI: Gaming enterprise Nazara Technologies said on Tuesday that Plutus Wealth Management and its associates have acquired shares worth over Rs 500 crore in Nazara from existing investor WestBridge Ventures II Investment Holdings, a fund managed by WestBridge Capital in a secondary transaction between the parties.

With this transaction, WestBridge Ventures, which had been an early investor in Nazara since 2005, makes a complete exit from the gaming company that is getting ready to soon launch its initial public offering (IPO).
